In this episode of VICE News Tonight, we followed one family who feared that they could be separated because of a new anti-trans law in their home state. In late February 2023, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ordered the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services (DFPS) to investigate "child abuse" in parents who seek gender-affirming care for their trans kids.
