OUT LOUD

In 2022, Absolut reached out to VICE News to create a custom episode that highlights the queer community in some way. I teamed up with a colleague to develop, pitch, produce, and direct what is now known as OUT LOUD. It’s a 44-minute documentary that highlights three young queer artists and the spaces that helped shape them, showing how music is integral to creating a community for queer people to find ourselves. We even got New Orleans Bounce icon Big Freedia to host as a way to metaphorically “pass the torch” to these younger artists.
